Circle the Wagons.
R.I.P. 2001-2006

After 5 years, 2 albums, 8927 pints of Guinness and thousands of kilometres, we, (Circle the Wagons), have decided to call it a day.

We have toured and shared the stage with some of our heroes, Nomeansno, DOA, Hanson Brothers and Death Sentence. We had Chi Pig of SNFU on stage signing an old Personality Crisis song with us. We've been through 4 drummers in a similar amount of time, which is quite a challenge coming from a town of only 9000 people. We've become friends with some of the most decent characters on the planet. We've become brothers with Married To Music and the Stag Reels. We've shared magic nights of sweaty old-school glory at the Castle in Calgary with our friends Dry-Fisted. We drank on the deck with Hans and the Slack Brothers until the sun came up in Winnipeg. We didn't win a JUNO, but who cares. We've done a lot, and now it's time to move on.

Thanks to all of the people whose couches we've slept on and who's beer we drank. Thanks to all of the bands that we've played with. Good luck. Thanks to all of the promoters that took a chance. Thanks to all of the venues that took care of us. Thanks to all of you who came to the shows and bought our discs and shirts. We'll all be back to your town eventually, just not flying this old banner.
Cheers, Mike, Paddy and Chris.

The brand new Wagons album,
"Forbidden To Eat Worms"
on Black Banana Records.

Seventeen-and-a-half minutes of guitar thrashing glory. Circle the Wagons, with their fast chord shellacking and overall lack of vocal coherency, offer all the nostalgia of the hard-core punk of yesteryear...more

These guys will crash your party, bust up your GI Joe collection, drink your booze, fondle your hot sister and key the Land Rover in your driveway, all before you can finish your first beer.
You simply have to respect that sort of brevity and focus...more

- John Chedsey (Satan Stole My Teddybear) www.ssmt-reviews.com

This CD has more killer riffs and guitar-god solos than most albums two or three times as long. It kicks off with "Cowards Drop Bombs", a blistering metallic punk song that is probably the band's finest moment... more
